Another Powers joins the LBJ Construction team! Please give a big welcome to Breck Jr. as he becomes the newest addition to the LBJ Family. Following in his father’s footsteps, Breck Jr. will be assisting the remodeling
team in estimations and project management. We are thrilled to have him here!
Breck Jr’s life has been largely influenced by his father’s business. Having grown up around construction, he decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and pursue a career in the industry. He graduated from
Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Science with a minor in Business Management. His professional career began as a project engineer working on commercial buildings for a large General Contractor in the Pacific Northwest. While on these jobs he managed interior finish scopes of work. During the pandemic, he was transferred back to Texas and was part of building two utilityscale solar plants. There he was the lead engineer for the mechanical trades. Breck’s time working for this large General Contractor allowed him to finetune his attention to detail, develop his quality control management, increase his technical ability, and establish strong interpersonal skills. Breck’s interests outside of work are mountain biking, fishing, and anything outside. But most of all Breck’s passion is being a husband and a dad.
